Context: My husband and I are currently rent-vesting in Sydney. We have one doggo. While we don’t combine our finances (we invest separately etc), we do have a joint expenses & joint savings accounts together, and we’re fully aligned on our goals and the life we want to achieve.

Other sources of income like dividends, rental income, and side hustles are excluded here, this breakdown focuses only on my 9 to 5 salary. Lastly, shared expenses discussed are only my portion shared with my husband!
