For me, it was worth it and the financial advisor career path was a really good fit for my skillset.  However, after following the same advice I gave my clients, my wife and I lived below our means, accomplished many financial goals, and I decided to pivot my career for a third time. However, I believe there is a growing trend where people are realizing how much they are spending on financial advisor fees within their qualified retirement accounts and beginning to learn how to manage their own finances &amp; investments.
